1. Description of Service

Authen provides tools for access visibility, access management insights, and security-related reporting across third-party SaaS applications. Authen does not enforce access controls on external systems unless explicitly stated.

Authen provides visibility, analysis, and recommendations only. Authen does not guarantee prevention of security incidents, data breaches, or unauthorized access.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of your organization to use Authen.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Ensure you have authorization to upload data and connect third-party services
• Use Authen only for lawful business purposes

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

4. Access to Third-Party Services

Authen may connect to third-party platforms (such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, GitLab, AWS, or others) based on permissions granted by you.

Authen:

• Accesses only the data required to provide the Service
• Does not modify or delete third-party data unless explicitly authorized
• Is not responsible for third-party service availability or security

5. Data Accuracy & Security Disclaimer

Authen analyzes data based on information provided by you or third-party systems.

You acknowledge that:

• Data may be incomplete or outdated
• Shared accounts and external usage may limit attribution accuracy
• Authen insights are informational, not definitive security guarantees

6. Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Use Authen for illegal activities
• Attempt to bypass security measures
• Reverse engineer or misuse the Service
• Upload malicious or unauthorized data

7. Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if:

• These Terms are violated
• The Service is misused
• Required by law or security concerns

You may stop using Authen at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Authen is provided "as is"
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Authen after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Authen is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
